The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office for Civil Rights (OCR) published a Final Rule to modify the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule to support reproductive health care privacy. Physician are required to comply with the regulations by December 23, 2024.
